1. Relationship

The individual providing your proposal is an independent contractor licensed by MEG Services, Inc. dba Certa ProPainters to operate under our systems and trademarks. All work will be completed by our independently owned and operated franchise. Please make all payments payable to the business name shown on your proposal.

2. Colors

Colors may be selected prior to the start of the project. If a color change is requested after work begins, additional charges for labor and materials related to the original color selection may apply.

3. Unforeseen Conditions

If unforeseen conditions arise that could not have been identified through visual inspection before the project began, an agreed-upon additional cost will be required to complete the work.

4. Proposal

All proposals are valid for 60 days from the date issued. To proceed, you must notify us of your intent to have the work completed and provide a signed copy of the proposal before work begins.

5. Right to Cancel

You may cancel this transaction at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of the transaction. If you cancel, any payments made, property traded, or negotiable instruments executed will be returned within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation notice. Any security interest arising from this transaction will be canceled.

If you cancel, you must make any goods delivered available to us in the same condition as when you received them. If we do not collect the goods within 20 days of cancellation, you may retain or dispose of them without further obligation. Failure to return or make goods available will result in continued liability under the contract.

Limited Two-Year Warranty

Coverage

For a period of two years from the completion date of your project, MEG Services, Inc. dba Certa ProPainters will repair any peeling, blistering, or chipping paint resulting from defective workmanship.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a valid claim:

1. Keep a copy of your original contract.
2. Provide proof of full payment.
3. Make your property accessible for inspection and repairs.
4. Pay for the cost of all materials required for the repairs.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover:

• Work where we did not supply materials.
• Work not performed entirely by us.
• Varnished surfaces or galvanized metal.
• Materials costs for repairs.
• Horizontal or moisture-prone surfaces (e.g., decks, railings, roofs).
• Exact paint color matching.
• Defects caused by product manufacturing issues.
• Bleeding from knots, rust, or cedar.
• Drywall, plaster, or wood cracks.
• Pre-existing paint layers peeling.
• Defects caused by design flaws, structural movement, or moisture.
• Damage from abuse, chemicals, extreme weather, fire, flood, vandalism, or other uncontrollable events.
  
  

This warranty applies only to the original customer named on the contract and is non-transferable. It is the sole express warranty provided and replaces all other warranties, express or implied. Our liability will not exceed the original contract price.
